Our work started in the South Asian community, and it now reaches clients from every background. What hasn't changed is the way we work: effective representation, and real care for the people behind each case.
Kamran founded Chaudhry Solicitors in 2017 to fix something he kept running into. As a Pakistani solicitor, he could see that no firm in Hong Kong was set up for the South Asian community, the community he came from himself. Many of its members did not even know what legal help was available to them.
So he built a different kind of firm: one that South Asian clients could actually reach and afford, and that made the law feel less daunting to people who had never had reason to deal with it. He started with just a few staff, and together they fought hard for their brothers and sisters in the community when it mattered most.
The firm has grown a lot since then, and our clients now come from every kind of background. The office is busier and more crowded these days, full of serious legal work and the occasional loud celebration when a case goes our way. Our people come from different cultures and bring different specialisms, but none of that has pulled us away from what Kamran set out to do. We still hold to the same four values: diversity, professionalism, empathy, and trust. Every client comes to us with their own background and their own way of seeing things, and our job is to give each of them legal help that actually fits and respects who they are. That hasn't changed as the firm has grown.
