When Kamran founded Chaudhry Solicitors in 2017, his mission was to help bridge the gap that he saw in the legal system in Hong Kong: as a Pakistani solicitor, he noticed that there were no legal services available that catered specifically to the needs of the South Asian community – a community that he was a part of himself. He also noticed that many members of the South Asian community lacked awareness of the legal support available in Hong Kong.
Determined to make a difference, Kamran embarked on a new journey as a solicitor to start an unconventional Hong Kong-based law firm – a law firm that can provide accessible legal services that would cater the needs of the South Asian community, a law firm that can make the legal system more approachable and less intimidating for those unfamiliar with it. Starting off with just few staff members, Kamran and his team fought tirelesslyfor their South Asian brothers and sisters in their times of needs.
Over time, our firmhas grown and expanded to serve a more diverse range of clients from all walks of life. Today, with an increasing number of staff members from various cultural backgrounds and areas of expertise, our office has become a little more crowded, bustled with both the seriousness of legal work and the joyful sounds of celebrating successful cases. Despite the growth of our firm, our team has never lost sight of the Kamran’s original aspirationby staying true to the firm’s core values of diversity, professionalism, empathy and trust.
